Our story – Everyone’s future
We cannot impact our industry and the ongoing pollution crisis unless we put the HiPoint technology and HPAB process ©  in place. We are all in a race against time and request support to assist us with the resources necessary to make this change. It will take the community to change the industry for the better.

Introduction

Creating a cleaner, healthier Planet through the influence of the horse.

HiPoint Bedding Corp is a Zero Waste Environmental Recycling company and the first to solve the horse stall residual waste crisis while positively impacting non-point source pollution and global warming in a multibillion-dollar industry.  This recycling process will not only reduce the inadequate and/or illegal dumping and leaching from stall waste residuals but through our innovative technology, we will recycle and manufacture essential products. Including environmentally sustainable hypo-allergenic dust-free animal bedding and clean energy organic matter biomass in the heart of equestrian regions from a single waste stream with high margin returns.

HiPoint is addressing a massive sector that needs change and is sorely overlooked. That is, the Horse Industry and Millions of tons of stall residuals every month being inadequately handled and disposed of, severely reducing water and air quality across the globe. Environmental hazards are now at critical levels and have become a severe threat to our environment. With HiPoint and the support of the horse community, we can lead to change, be involved, and make a difference.

HiPoint crosses many sectors and groups of people that can be invested through a common thread. We strongly believe that the work of strategic foundations such as Beyond Carbon, Oceana.org, and Mars Equine can become strong influencers in helping us achieve our goal of solving this manure crisis. The Beyond Carbon foundation with its focus on a low carbon economy through clean energy, Oceana.org with its focus on protecting habitat in our waterways and Mars Equine who are stewarding the power of horses on society and sustainability. Working with these forceful and educational foundations can provide us with the necessary support in the areas of pollution and protection from environmental hazards, connected to our industry.

Further support is needed from local and federal government agencies like EPA, US Dept of Energy, DEP, and Clean Water Act that are currently ramping up restrictions on proper manure disposal which are hard to enforce without a full economic solution.  HiPoint will provide a way to eliminate a vital portion of this waste stream and allow for the implementation of regulations that will prevent the improper storage and disposal of manure at the heart of this polluting crisis.

Investors see the need in areas of clean energy, profitability, real estate, and environmental portfolios, as the HiPoint process will create substantial profits in Facility builds and expansion across the country. We want to provide high investor returns by producing multiple products from a single waste stream with substantially lower transportation rates than the competition and be at competitive market pricing. Primarily we have created a highly disruptive supply chain.  With our closed-loop system, we will produce both a premium shavings product and high-yield organic matter biomass in the heart of equine regions with higher margins than other wholesalers.  Add to the fact that our data-driven tracking software from farm to disposal back to the farm is proprietary and will help drive much-needed statistics back to each County we serve.

HiPoint can bring both environmental and economic benefits back to the horse industry and local communities while protecting the Planet. HiPoint’s philanthropic mandate will be made possible by creating long-term profits and high returns while working alongside foundations to make a significant difference. Plus, provide our profit-driven investors the advantage of potential dividends and high returns over many years to come.

In the USA, there are three million race/competition horses stabled indoors.  These horses produce three million tons of stall residual waste bedding each month.  The majority of this waste is hauled to in-fill sites, burned or buried inadequately, or stockpiled on agricultural land, rendering it unusable and causing environmental hazards. These disposal methods lead to pollution via manure runoff with excess nitrogen and phosphorus leaching into the ground & waterways as well as off-gassing from Ch4 methane GHG’s (greenhouse gases.)

To solve this problem, HiPoint has tested, developed, and piloted innovative technology where we can recycle this waste stream in a zero-waste process.  This closed-loop process will not only separate the wood shavings from the manure and restore the shavings for reuse and sale, but it will also generate higher yield organic matter biomass for fuel, organic soil amendment/fertilizer, or digestate substrate for AD refineries.

The quality supply of wood shavings has become hard to maintain customer demand, and longer transportation routes drive up prices for horse owners and reduce profits to manufacturers. Many shavings products contain mold, yeast, and dust, creating health hazards for both horses and humans. Through separation and diverting each bi-product independently, we can produce two valuable recycled products from a waste stream that has mostly been ignored.

PRODUCT LINE

HiPoint shavings are restored through this recycling process and bagged after being dried, pasteurized, dust-extracted, and naturally infused with an anti-bacterial, antiviral proprietary compound before being sold back to the original farms.  HiPoint produces a premium quality hypo-allergenic product not comparable to any product on the market that will promote improved health for both horses and humans.

The biomass extracted is cured and sold through two verticals. The biomass will be used for clean energy projects, sold to the grid as a fuel, or used as digestate for Anaerobic Digestion LNG methane gas production. Alternatively, due to the wood shavings being removed, our biomass will carry a higher yield NPK to use as a soil amendment, biochar, or organic matter fertilizer. It will support organic food production and revitalize nutrient levels in agricultural lands in an effort to improve food security. Biomass recycling will indirectly improve water quality, reduce soil emissions of GHG and nutrient leaching, decrease soil acidity, and reduce the need for irrigation and the addition of chemical fertilizer to agri-food crops.

The stall residual waste bedding will be received at a licensed transfer station and then processed in a fully covered facility to further prevent leaching and methane off-gassing.  Although tipping fees will be offered at a discounted rate compared to competitors due to the close proximity of our facility, the transfer station will generate yet another avenue of revenue for the company.

EPR Software. HiPoint will track manure removal from each farm using a proprietary built EPR software.  EPR is a regulatory requirement we will use to help divert the illegal dumping of waste on landfills and monitor the feedstock while decreasing the total ecological impact of the product.

Education Through agri-tourism, we can transfer knowledge to encourage future generations to take part in the solution created by HiPoint and continue to be key players in solving the manure crisis and saving our planet.

This proactive approach of removing stall residuals and repurposing each component will lead to a sharp reduction in non-point source pollution. Excess nitrogen and phosphorus are the most common sources of water quality impairments caused by inadequate storage and disposal of horse stall residuals/manure. In particular, phosphorus overloading into our waterways results in the formation of algae blooms and degrades water quality, thereby affecting the livelihood of fisheries. The HPAB Process © will improve local water quality by reducing horse stall waste leaching from manure runoff. This can reduce the cost to produce clean water at waste-water treatment plants and reduce unwanted chemicals or polymers added to the process while increasing the quality and quantity of fish back into the local canals. Furthermore, the HiPoint process actually produces up to 3 million gallons of recycled water for irrigation and reuse from the thermodynamic drying process.

By removing the unusable stall residual waste from our lands and through our innovative process, we can prevent the release of over 100,000 lbs. of methane GHG emissions per facility per year into the atmosphere. While secondary to these benefits, but also of great importance, is that, by reducing the amount of manure spread and stockpiled, we will decrease the fly population and contribute to an overall decrease in the spread of serious zoonotic diseases such as West Nile virus.

We cannot impact our industry and the ongoing pollution crisis unless we put this technology and process in place. We are all in a race against time and respectfully request your consideration and thoughts to assist us with the resources necessary to make this change.

Regional Facility

All facilities will be built where there is a high population of horses and humans co-habituating and hence the high probability of stockpiling. West Palm Beach, Florida, which already has severe water quality management problems is forced to haul over 150,000 tons of horse manure every year from its showgrounds and barns.  Scottsdale, Arizona has a high methane pollution problem due to heat and off-gassing.

The purpose of the Regional Proposal is to establish and operate an equestrian recycling shavings facility within 30 miles of an area with a high population of horses and humans. Based on the validated number of horses in the region, each facility will reclaim between 18,000 and 59,000 tons of waste shavings directly from within the core equine market. The HPAB process produces premium performance hypo-allergenic anti-bacterial, dust-free bedding that is safer and healthier for the horse and rider than the original bedding. In a closed-loop process, the recycled bedding is delivered back to local farms, equestrian centers, showgrounds, and tack shops with higher margin returns. The separated manure buns, small organic matter fines, and dust are composted through a bioreactor and resold as soil, digestate, or fuel to local markets. The facility optimally occupies five (5) acres of industrially zoned or permitted agricultural land with buffering for adequate setbacks, access, landscaping, and parking. Building size is 30,000 to 45,000 sq. ft (depending on facility processing capabilities) to house all processing equipment, storage, and biomass. The timeline to build a Facility is 9 months.

We work with existing equipment manufactures and our own proprietary equipment to reinvent and disrupt the supply chain process for quick adoption and expansion across the country. There are five actively progressing sites from over 50 viable locations across North America and 260 locations worldwide.

The HiPoint Facility will process up to 59,000 tons, creating 1,200,000 bags/year

About Us.

This company was built to accomplish two primary goals. Firstly, to solve the current manure crisis that is causing substantial environmental risk and with no solution in site.  Second, to create a more straightforward, more profitable supply chain of premium quality bagged horse bedding and bi-product higher-yielding biomass as a fuel or soil amendment through recycling and distribution.

Through extensive research & development to an innovative design, we can now manufacture premium quality products with zero waste, low to no emissions, at a carbon-neutral, fully automated, covered recycling facility. We do this through a multi-stage process of separation, drying, pasteurization, infusion, and bagging. We will create and deliver a hypo-allergenic, dust-free, anti-bacterial, antiviral bagged horse bedding at higher margins sold at competitive pricing. Furthermore, we will create impressive revenue streams from biomass, used as a clean energy fuel or digestate for anaerobic digestion and LNG gas production and/or organic fertilizer with superior yield potential.

This result of "wasting nothing and gaining everything" philosophy created new profitable revenue streams from this waste stream that has had a significant negative impact on the environment. By removing this waste stream and preventing stockpiling on land and nearby waterways, we can reduce leaching of phosphorous and nitrogen into the canals and waterways (algae blooms), improve water quality, and reduce methane off-gassing that causes high GHG's greenhouses gasses.  This, in turn, will direct impact climate change creating a healthier better planet.

By reducing stockpiling of manure on fields, we will reduce the fly population and decrease the potential threat of zoonotic disease transfer creating a safer environment.

We will create premium quality products at a higher margin, protect our industry, protect the environment and promote improved animal health and prevent disease within our ecosystem. All through the influence of the horse.
